The second week’s attendees will receive a miniature replica of an animation production envelope, a staple in studios for storing pencil drawings and artwork, accompanied by a postcard featuring an animation pencil drawing. The third week culminates with a 15-centimeter (6-inch) shikishi board adorned with an exclusive sketch by Kui.

In addition to these collectibles, theaters will offer merchandise including an acrylic stand of characters illustrated by Kui, an acrylic illustration panel of the anime’s teaser visual, a B2-sized tapestry, a set of clear files, individual character acrylic stands, randomly distributed badge sets, and an acrylic mascot collection.

The anime is set to air in January and continue for two consecutive cours, concluding in June. It features a star-studded cast, including Kentarō Kumagai as Laios, Sayaka Senbongi as Marcille, Asuna Tomari as Chilchuck, Hiroshi Naka as Senshi, Saori Hayami as Falin, Akira Miki as Namari, and Shinji Kawada as Shuro.

Yen Press, the manga’s English language publisher, describes this unique fusion of dungeon adventures and culinary exploration as an ingenious concept where adventurers turn to the dungeon’s monstrous inhabitants as a source of sustenance.

The storyline follows a group of adventurers, led by the young Laios, who are driven to delve back into the depths after a defeat by a dragon, with their survival hinging on an unorthodox yet ingenious strategy: “Let’s eat the monsters!” This culinary quest offers a fresh and humorous perspective on the typical dungeon-crawling genre.

Directing the anime is Yoshihiro Miyajima, known for his work on SSSS. Dynazenon and SSSS.Gridman, with Kimiko Ueno overseeing the series scripts. Naoki Takeda is responsible for character designs, and the legendary Yasunori Mitsuda is composing the music. BUMP OF CHICKEN will be providing the opening theme song “Sleep Walking Orchestra.”

Since its debut in Kadokawa’s Harta magazine in February 2014, “Delicious in Dungeon” has grown in popularity, with the 12th compiled volume released in August 2022.

A 30-second animated commercial by Studio Trigger for the manga’s eighth volume in September 2019 further heightened anticipation among fans, who eagerly await the series’ climax.
