The talented Yoshihiro Miyajima takes the helm, directing at the renowned Studio Trigger. Kimiko Ueno shapes the series scripts with deftness, while Naoki Takeda’s artistic hands sculpt the character designs. Complementing the visual feast, Yasunori Mitsuda orchestrates an auditory experience with his music composition, renowned for his work in Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles. BUMP OF CHICKEN complements the scene with “Sleep Walking Orchestra,” the anime’s opening theme that’s sure to echo in viewer’s minds.

Ryoko Kui, the original mastermind, launched the manga in Kadokawa’s Harta magazine back in February 2014 and concluded the series on September 15th. The manga’s eighth volume was so anticipated, Studio Trigger produced a 30-second animated commercial back in September 2019 to celebrate its release.
