Appearance

Tōshirō’s diminutive stature, turquoise eyes, and spiky white hair capture notice in the Human World. His sleeveless captain’s haori with a green sash and a star-shaped clasp. The belt secures Zanpakutō’s sheath on his back. He wears a tabi sometimes. He looks youthful for a Shinigami. He wears black short-sleeved golf shirts and grey slacks in the Human World. Before becoming a captain, Tōshirō’s hair was merely spiky in spots. He donned the Shinigami suit with the 10th Division’s insignia on the left breast. After Ichigo reclaims his Shinigami powers 17 months after Aizen’s defeat, Tōshirō emerges with a long turquoise scarf and a hairdo similar to his pre-Shinigami days. His green sash is now a slender chain with a star-shaped clip.

Tōshirō’s fringe now reaches his eyes despite his bandanna after training to fight the Wandenreich. With his robes falling carelessly, he looks lankier.

Hitsugaya’s look changes after Giselle Gewelle zombify her. He now wears a white double-breasted trench coat with black lapels, four buttons on each side, and a six-pointed cross insignia on the left breast. Bankai

Hitsugaya’s Bankai forces Hyōrinmaru’s ice to pour onto his right arm, forming a dragon’s head around his sword hand and encasing the sword up to the hilt, which turns from a four-pointed star to an eight-pointed star. He has two enormous wings and a lengthy tail as ice forms over his shoulders. Ice covers his left arm and clawed hand. Like his left hand, Hitsugaya’s clawed feet are coated in ice. Three ice flowers with four purple diamond-shaped petals bloom behind him during various Bankai appearances.
