On Friday it was declared on Twitter by the manga illustrator Kōtarō Yamada that his Sword Art Online Project manga Alicization is going to shift to the Web DenPlay Comic website.

In August 2016 the manga was commenced by Yamada in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko Magazine. On August 10 the third assembled volume was issued by Kadokawa.

On Friday the last issue of Dengeki Bunko Magazine was issued by Kadokawa. The website of the magazine probed in its declaration of the last issue that Dengeki Bunko Magazine is coming back. In December 2007 the magazine was commenced by ASCII Media Works as a successor to the Dengeki HP magazine.

The manga Sword Art Online: Girls Ops was also in succession by the magazine. That manga is also in succession in digital form on the ComicWalker website.

The two volume manga Phantom Bullet by Yamada adapted the arc Phantom Bullet of light novels Sword Art Online by Kawahara. In 2014 and 2015 the two assembled volumes of the manga was issued by Kadokawa in Japan concurrently and the two volumes was issued by Yen Press in English.
