Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld concluded on Sunday and as soon as the series ended, the anime announced via a video that Sword Art Online: Progressive light novels will be adapted into anime.
The teaser video features Asuna from first season as she states “November 6, 2022. The day it all started”. The key visual features Asuna in the front while Aincrad is floating in the background which makes it look like the adventurous journey is about to begin.
In The Sword Art Online: Progressive light novels Reki Kawaha has retold the entire story from the beginning. But in this revised version, the story is more focused on Kirito’s journey on each floor of Aincrad castle. We also get to know more about Asuna’s past and hoe she ended up in the virtual scene.
