Spinoff Manga Shaman King: Red Crimson Ends

On Friday the February issue of the Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge issued the last chapter of manga Shaman King: Red Crimson by Jet Kusamura.

The side project manga of Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga focuses on Tao Jun and Lee Pai Long going up against the grisly and despise filled 2000-year-old history of the Tao family.

In June 2018 the manga was commenced by Kusamura in Shonen Magazine Edge. Last November the 3rd assembled book volume of the manga was issued by Kodansha.

In 1988 the Shaman King premiered in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. In 2004 the series was suddenly concluded but in 2009 a reprinting of the manga disclosed a true conclusion. In November 2011 a series of mini stories named Shaman King 0 illustrated by Takei was started in Shueisha’s Jump X magazine and from 2012 to 2014 a follow up series named Shaman King Flowers was issued in the similar magazine.

In May 2018 a new arc named Shaman King The Super Star for manga Shaman King was commenced by Takei. In December the magazine disclosed that the manga is moving towards its climax.
