Death Parade
I personally love this anime. The plot revolves around a pair of characters who find themselves waking up in the same dingy tavern again and over again. They have not yet come to the realization that they are participating in a potentially fatal game due to their naivety.

Paranoia Agent has a short, one-season run, but it does a lot of different things with characters, ideas, and sometimes even genres. People who don’t like horror stories probably won’t be interested, but people who liked Elfen Lied or Serial Experiments Lain, which were also weird, might like this.
