The upcoming Sci-Fi Anime “Sacks & Guns!!” will be released in 2021. It is the anime adaptation of the novel Sakugan Labyrinth Marker.
The story is set in a distant future by the Gregorian calendar. Humans are forced to live in deep underground world called “Labyrinth.” This world is divided into colonies according to the various qualities. Some colonies have warm temperature while others are full of treasures of gold and silver.
One of these colonies is Pinin where lives Memenpuu, a nine year old girl who is filled with many curiosities. She lives with her father in Gaganbah. They uses robot to mine for ore. They are one of the “Workers” category of physical labor.
Memenpuu, once tells her father that she wishes to become “Maker” and designs a map of the deeper part of the labyrinth. But the outside region of your colony is the danger zone.
It has been claimed that if you run into “enormous creatures” that roam around the caves, the chances of your survival becomes close to 0%. For that reason, the maps of the labyrinth are extremely valuable and expensive. Therefore, the job of making map or becoming a “maker” is both dangerous and highly attractive.
Gaganbah claims that it is not possible for him to hold back Memenpuu anymore and so they decide to leave the colony along with their robot.
But being curious can be very dangerous and the thing which a person is curious about does not always turns out to be a good thing and one can end up in a grave danger.
The story revolves around the hard work of the father and daughter and the bond they share throughout this trip.
