In February THE FIRST CG Anime Movie Lupin III Opens in Thailand

On Sunday a Thai captioned trailer was telecasted by the Thai movie distributor M Pictures of the new anime movie Lupin III THE FIRST of the franchise Lupin III by Monkey Punch. The trailer discloses that on February 27 the movie will be released by M Pictures in Thailand.

This movie is the first 3D CG feature-length movie of the franchise. On December 6 the movie was released in Japan and the movie got the 2nd position at the Japanese box office and it vended 177,000 tickets and generated 244,827,850 yen in its starting week. Till January 5 the movie has generated an aggregate of 1 billion yen. The movie is put forward of this year’s Animation of the Year category in the Japan Academy Film Prize Association’s 43rd annual.

The complete movie was penned and directed by Takashi Yamazaki. The story of the movie revolves around Lupin joining hands with a woman called Leticia in order to take away the Bresson Diary which is a fortune that even the Arsène Lupin the primary generation was not able to steal.

On April 11 the maker of Lupin III called Monkey Punch died but on October 2018 the website of the movie updated a message in which he had stated that how much he is thrilled to picture the fresh take of his character would look like.

Last May the latest movie Lupin the IIIrd: Fujiko’s Lie of the franchise was released in Japan. In its starting week the movie got the 1st position in the small cinema rankings in Japan. The movie is the third movie of the series comprising of 2014’s Lupin the Third: Jigen’s Gravestone and 2017’s Lupin the IIIrd Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon. All of the three movies were directed by Takeshi Koike and the scripts were penned by YÅ«ya Takahashi.

In the franchise Lupin the Third: Part 5 is the latest anime series. In April 2018 the anime series was debuted in Japan NTV’s AnichU programming block.
