I’m glad to see Dr Harada winning. I’m so happy for that man. He suffered a lot but endured. I’m glad that his knee and Suo made him come out of his youthful dream. Winning the match would not have been possible if he kept playing according to Arata. I was happy to see him in that crazy state. He managed to defeat with the help of two cards when he could have lost the game. Dr Harada is not as easy opponent and that’s why nobody dare to play against him but it was awesome to see him in action. He has the ability to make the match thrilling and exciting.
The part that I loved the most in this arc is to getting to know the journey of Dr. Harada in becoming a great player. He never stopped playing and although he became a week player as he got older, he came up with a different tool. That tool was his teachings that he give to the Shiranami Society’s members.
So, this means that two best veteran players are up against the King and Queen. Suo seems excited about it knowing that the both opponents are going to give a tough time. He also said to Shinobu to be careful, who was shocked to know Arata lost. I can’t wait to watch the match and see if the current King and Queen can retain their position.
Arata gave him tough time and played well but it is good that he lost as he may have learned from that. He realizes that he needs to stop pretending he is his grandfather and be himself. If he can do that he will be free from his grandfather’s legacy that will always be a hurdle in his own achievements. This will help him evolve in the future.
I love how Arata realized his feelings for Chihaya. He had almost understood that when he realized why he couldn’t let go an ‘Gust’ and ‘Impassionate’. When he asked Chihaya for her opinion, she answered that she would have let go both of them as she is attached to them. That will make her go for it. That was the point when Arata understood everything and confessed right way. It was much unexpected. It was very cute scene and how he made no effort to express his feelings. It was sweet. He looked cute with the smile and the blush. The reaction of Kanade and Sumire was amazingly funny and Chihaya’s reaction was priceless as she froze with shock.
Thankfully Taichi was not present there at the time he confessed. But we can expect how he would have react if he would be there. It probably wouldn’t make any difference. But certainly he won’t take it lightly as he doesn’t like Arata being a step ahead. This will make the heated up love triangle even more complicated. I didn’t like it when Taichi gave back Suo’s scarf to him and stated that he his dating Chihaya (witnessed by Haruka and family). We know the reason why he said that but it wasn’t the right thing to do as stated earlier by Arata that Chihaya belongs to none of them.
I can’t wait to see Taichi’s reaction when he will come to know about Arata;s confession. Who will tell him? Will it be Arata or Chihaya? It can also be one of the girls. He will know one way or another but one things is for sure that it’s going to be really hard for Chihaya.
