Assassin’s Pride Episode 12 Review

Atlas the evil ended and at last this show comes to end. Thankfully I can forget about this show and won’t have to watch this show again. It feels good to be free.

After this review I’ll completely get rid of this show. It’s not that I want to get done with it quickly but there is not really much to review about it. It was not a very bad episode but it was not also a good episode. It was rather plain and simple for a last episode. The fairytale book is again in action when Mule takes Melisa and the roundtable people to the world of fairytale to see this legendary trial making it look like Alice in Wonderland. Is Felgus really the father? The trial started with something we all have been watching since the beginning of the series. Everyone being mean to Melida. Salacha’s brother has the book that Mule took from Melida and reads that Melida is from samurai class and not paladin. This makes Melida angry and since always needs to do something to make others realize of her strength, she has to fight against Salacha who is a from upper Noble class, to prove her strength. To their surprise she does great job and fight well making everyone realize their wrongdoings. Salacha’s brother is astonished but appreciate that and feels the need to get involved and calls a dragon to get everyone in that place killed so that nobody will know it happened. The girls stood up to save them and then suddenly everything including the girls and the place changes to a new location with cage and a nice moon.

The man who was wearing a mask and was acting as father to Melida shows up once again. The fight scene was short and very pointless. Kufa appears as a hero and together with Melida stands against him. Nothing goes wrong. Salacha’s brother kills the guy that was defeated by Kufa and it seems like he is still not over his investigation thing and his target is Kufa.

Finally Melida’s father considers her and tell her that it’s okay if she is samurai since it’s nothing new in the family? That was quick. Finally he acts nicely and politely to her which brought tears to Melida’s eyes. After the credit Melida ask Kufa to keep guarding her and stay by her side to see her being respected and acknowledged by the people. She also wants to do something for him like he did. In the end he refers her as ‘little lady’ and the roses starts pouring down like before.

Final Thought

The name of this series is Assasin’s Pride but there is nothing to be proud about this trashy show. I feel sorry for the people who worked in this garbage and are associated with this horrible show. It’s shame and was a poor series. There was no solid plot, possibly because nothing was shown clearly and everything was cut short. There was no sense in any anything shown in this series. The appearance of the characters and the emerging of new plots was baseless. There was not story in anything happening in the series. The pacing is an essential for any story and it was very poor in this show. There were many times that the plot seemed ridiculous and probably the source material is not good enough. But without any doubt it was the worst show.

There was no efforts made to make the viewers get attached to the characters and so are easily forgettable. The only admirable character was Melida. Sometimes she seemed irritating but overall her character was good as she was courageous and had faith in herself. Although she act childish and was a little immature but her attitude overshadows her dumbness. The climax showed the same in thing and that was only good thing in this episode. She is adorable.

It was badly written show, with terrible pacing and plain characters including Kufa. The animation was not good but sometime things in the background looked nice like the world in lantern and the moon with blue background. But in general it was not very attractive and I may have not said this before but I never like their uniforms. It was a pretty short skirt for the girls so young and that outfit seems inappropriate also because it’s a school uniform and why do they need breast patches for the school uniform?

Melida and Kufa were supposed to the main couple of the show but I can’t see them as a romantic couple for some obvious reasons. I don’t know much about Kufa but Melida is too young to have a romantic relationship with someone. There is not much difference of age but Melida is too immature and young to have a romantic relationship.

There are few things that I liked in this show like the world that they show was quite different and interesting and opening and ending theme were also good but that’s just about it. The story was lame and pointless. There were some very ridiculous things in the series, characters were bland and the pacing was poor. If you have been reading my reviews then you’ll know why I’m saying this. The show wasn’t good since the first episode but it seemed a good start which gave hope for a cool show. But, unluckily it turned out to be a really bad show. Thankfully now it’s over.
