The series will revolved around on the band Mashumairesh!!!!, which incorporates guitarist and vocalist Howan (Hikaru Tohno) of fox ancestry, guitarist and vocalist MashimaHimeko (Yūko Natsuyoshi) of striped feline heredity, bassist and vocalist Delmin (Misaki Watada) of the Devilmint Kiryū genealogy, and drummer and vocalist Ruhuyu (Aya Yamane) of wolf-young lady genealogy.
The anime is being directed at Kinema Citrus by Korean director Seung Hui Son and the script of the series is being managed by Daisuke Tazawa. The designer of character is Nobuyuki Itō and he is also the main director of animation. Masayuki Kojima is the advisor. The CG production is being managed by Polygon Pictures. The music is being composed by Yasuharu Takanashi and Funta7.

On December 26 the original Smartphone game Show By Rock!! concluded the service. The new Show By Rock!! Fes A Live rhythm game will include 2D animation of recurring and new characters from Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!! In 2020 the game is planned to commence.
