Isekai anime is now a must in every new anime season. Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai demo Youuu de Ikinuku you desu! is very interesting isekai anime which was released recently. The plot revolved around a group of prodigies, each possessing a unique trait are teleported to a mystical world, they choose to use their abilities and rescue the villagers who helped them. With an appealing plot and many cool characters, this is one of the best anime you will find.

Hataage! Kemono Michi (Kemono Michi: Rise Up)
Genzou Shibata has struggled his life in order to build his mind and body to achieve is claiming the ring as a skilled wrestler called the Anime Mask. The only one and last opponent to take down in the final battle of the World Champion title for Genzou is his biggest rival Macadamian Ogre. During the battle, Genzou is teleported to a mystical world. In that world he meets a princess the source of his teleportation and desires to rescue his kingdom with the help of summoned Genzou. With his love for animals and chiseled body, Genzou chooses to rescue the kingdom in the form of a beast hunter and his objective is to befriend all the creatures he battles with.
Through written summary, these anime don’t seem to have a lot of similar features, some of them include characters getting called in another world to save the kingdom and many characters with animal traits specifically ears, anyhow there are a lot of other things that have similar concept. Like we see in many Isekai trope genres, protagonist usually gain some super human powers when they are summoned but here Genzou or the protagonist of CHOYOYU! don’t have abnormal or inhuman stats when they are teleported in the new world. But in order to become the hero of another world they uses their normal human skills which they trained in their world. This is not only the mutual feature they share in both the anime but also the reason that makes these Isekai anime very interesting. And also both anime share the same amount of humor and drama which makes it a similar watching experience.
Maou-sama, Retry! (Demon Lord, Retry!)
Among the MMORPGs game in the world Infinity Game has become the most famous in the last fifteen years. Now, its producer, Akira Onno, has chosen to stop the game forever. The time when he was about to shut down the game, he was pulled into the game and winds up possessing the body of Hakuto Kunai, the identity of Demon Lord of the game. Hakuto gets the chance to experiment his abilities when he finds a demon name Greole catching a little girl called Aku. After knocking down Greole without any difficulty, Haluto and Aku set out for an adventure in the game world.
The most clear similarity that these two anime share is the manner of how they interact with the new world. Making the wrong things right, both the protagonist set out with the objective in mind to use their exclusive abilities to enforce rules and ease the lives of the people residing in the world. Tsukasa and the other prodigies, with the help of their experiences and learning of their world they develop the lives of Elm Village in every way possible from their food to their commercial standing. While Hakuto has the powers and the stature of the Demon King to achieve the goals his friends plans but aren’t able to achieve. It is very entertaining to watch how both the anime portraits them doing this and how Hakuto’s techniques are distinct thanks to his stature in the world. To top it off, these anime series are really good at fusing these scenes along with the humor and fighting sequences to produce some mysterious and entertaining stories.
Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? (Problem children are coming from another world, aren’t they?
Growing exhausted with their humdrum lives Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou and You Kasukabe with each having a special ability which surpasses any human capability. Izayou, Asuka and You obtains a letter that teleports them to a different world called Little Garden. In that world the three kids side with distressed association of people called No Name. Izayou, Asuka and You choose to rescue the association with the thought that they will be making others life better also they get to show off their awesome powers. But before that they had to contest in the Gift Games to win prestige, wealth and reputation for both No Name and themselves.
The most similar anime to Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai demo Youyuu de Ikinuku you desu! in the entire list could be Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? Both anime begin very similarly with a bunch of teens with unique abilities who are teleported to a new world and join an organization of distressed residents where they start using their abilities to help better the lives of the people around them. While the characters are different, they do not share the same traits or abilities but their purpose and the reason to use their powers in the world are somewhat similar, with goal of using their skills to develop and better the lives of others.
Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen (Ascendance of a Bookworm)
Urano Motosumore is a book worm. Her love for books is strong that she struggled to become a librarian just so that she could be around books. Unfortunately, when she was too close to make her wish come true, she died in an accident. But, she gets back her life only this in a different world with a different name, Main. However, this world has very few books. All those books are handwritten as there is no technique to produce books in large number. Main decides to do something about it and promises to have tons of books in this world even if takes her to write them all by herself
If you are intrigued by the characters of CHOYOYU and their skills to make change in the world seems amusing then you should definitely watch Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen. However Main’s problems aren’t that big or life threatening, but she tries to solve the problem in somewhat similar manner. Her wish to be surrounded with books makes her determined to bring them in the world and although it seems like self-benefit motive, but it will be a good thing for the people of that world as well. Although she is not physically strong and she is just a kid, Main would do anything to help the people as she truly cares about them.
Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku(Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody)
Ichirou Suzuki is a programmer and works day in and day out on two world’s most famous MMORPG’s. He finally finds a way out to relax, but, shockingly he wakes up in a different world after taking a nap. Thankfully, the world looks like the game he knows very well. In this world, he has a different name, Satou Pendragon. He used to use this name for beta test. In the beginning, Satou is confronted by the guild of lizardmen, but he defeats them and get to the position of high level. After gaining such strength, he starts exploring this new world.
The adventurous journey of the main characters is what makes these two anime similar. Tsukasa along with his friends, deals with some grave problems and tries to fight poverty with the politics. Satou deals with the issues of his own every time he meets a new individual while travelling. Since the characters are powerful in the world, the result of their combats and issues can be predicted. But, still it’s no less entertaining to watch them facing every challenge and fighting with full enthusiasm. There are also some other similarities like animation and visuals and some action scenes.
Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. (In Another World With My Smartphone)
A boy named Mochizuki Touya is mistakenly hit by God. As an apology God gives him the opportunity to reborn in a world of fantasy. He approves and wish to have his mobile along with him in that world. He later comes to know that he has understanding of magic after getting in this new world. In addition to that he has a group of adorable girls with him who tags along and attracted to him while he discovers this world. He couldn’t have wished for more.
Although the storyline of these two anime is entirely different, there are few similarities. The characters of both series are very similar in terms of personalities and their designs. Both series have characters with big ears and cute girls. Both series are funny and Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni has some ecchi jokes. This anime is perfect if you looking for some comedic anime.
