Set in the year 198, Tokyo is protected from Infernals by Fire Force Brigade. Infernals are the blazing creatures who were created as a result of the humans caught up in the fire on the streets. The character design of Princess Hibana is very different from the simple design of Shinra and other in Company 8. It seems like she is in some sort of fashion show. The border line of her Fire Fighter jacket is bordered with fur and her dress underneath her jacket rather looks like a party dress instead of a battle suit. Ever her eyes looks like a flower. Her ensemble design doesn’t suit for a fire scene but as an anime character, her design is very attractive.
Hibana has brought in the same where the resident nun of Company 8, Iris grew up. They were the only survivor when their school caught up in the fire. Since then, Hibana lost her faith in Sun God and promised to make them pay who set their school on fire. She has the firm faith on the idea that fire is malevolent and so she becomes evil herself and recognized as sadistic captain and the head infernal researcher at Company 5. Her male underlings seem amused to be treated like a ‘gravel’ when she is around.
Being a third-generation pyrokinetic, Hibana is capable of making and controlling fire as she desires. She can create blazing flowers through her Clamatis ability that allows her to crush her opponents with excessive heat and injuries. She also has the ability to trigger heat stroke with just an angry glare and directing excessive heat towards the opponents’ body.
She is very smart when it comes to science, due to which she is the first to discover that artificial infernals are being made— and the one responsible for that is possibly from the Fire Foce Brigade. She is a significant part of the Company 8 who brings essential leads and direct them away from those who are possibly not trustworthy. If she won’t be there, nothing would be on the right path.
When she is defeated by Shinra, she relaxes understands that she can’t become evil because of one tragic event. For making her realize that, she becomes Shinra’s fan of an extreme level. She sometimes shows extreme likeness towards by making food for him admitting it verbally and sometimes she shows her bossy attitude towards those who insults him.
Princess Hibana is a crazy, bossy female character with a tragic past and is a fan of the main character after taking their side. She is a very interesting character.
