5 Most Interesting Manga Moments That Were Not Shown In Anime

Manga readers like to brag to anime viewers that they have witnessed the original version of every franchise, without any unneeded extension or missing stuff. Most of the time they do not stick to the origins, but few times the words have some sort of changes in it. Today, we are focusing on five of the most awesome moments from manga which were absent in the anime version. Someday they are fully realized and we will get to see them maybe.

Devilman 1972

Go Nagai’s manga released in 1972 called Devilman was its first anime adaption which aired in the same year and had the same title. Sadly, instead of a dark tale of demons and the horrors of xenophobia, the anime adaption hardly resembles its source material except that they use some of the character’s name which were same in manga to somewhat relate it to the manga. Akira’s most close friend Ryo is not even present, same goes for all the other demons that had an appearance in the Devilman franchise’s rouges gallery. But we can still forgive it because of the song that got changes into ‘Devilman no Uta’ from 2018’s Devilman: Crybaby.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

Class 3-E consist of a total of 28 students, so of course, it is impossible to get a detailed personality view of each character in just 22 episodes. But the manga encompasses extra pages for characters that didn’t had much impact on the plot like Meg, Maehara, Sousuke, which were not present in manga due to limited number of episodes. These moments were really good and we still wanted to see some of them in the anime. Sousuke’s artistry and Maehara’s Casanova attitude were entirely absent, so these characters weren’t our favorites at all. Such a shame!

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid)

Ilulu disorganized dragon who have a little grasp over her shapeshifting powers, which develops a dainty form with unbalanced big breasts and awkward draconic elements. She is introduced in the later chapters of manga which the 13 episodes first season had little time to add her with amount of characters they already had in it. So she was absent entirely. She is just as cute as the other non-human characters and has a good story of its own, so when the next season will start airing, let’s hope she makes her appearance.

Kenpuu Denki Berserk (Berserk)

Guts is a silver, vigorous titan of a man who stood up even after fighting many wars and unbelievable adversity through his entire journey, and yet his character is something which can’t be described, calling him antihero is an understatement. One of his signature abilities—an extreme revulsion to human touch—actually was originated from a time which was never presented in any adaption of Berserk. As a kid, assaulted by a man called Donovan who was found to him through Gut’s father like person Gambino. Well it is self-explanatory why they cannot air it live, but this was the main reason for his current personality which we wish was there no matter the cause.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Many viewers are happy about the decision of anime creators, for where they end the show after the Future arc. In manga, there are two more arc which were not covered in anime since they were not that great and didn’t had any effect on Tsuna’s personality. But, due to this reason, one awesome moment was also not included in the anime—how we get to learn about Adult Reborn in the flesh.

A baby that’s what Reborn looked like, but due to a curse his mind resembles with a fully-grown adult. During the final story in manga, he gets a very interesting moment where dives in and saves Tsuna as his adult self. It would have been so great if we get to witness the scene in the animated series!

One thing we would like to view is the complete version of Josuke’s Cee-lo competition with Rohan from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, with the only reason in mind that his see-through efforts to confuse Rohan are funny in a “stupid teenager” sort of way that we find it infinitely captivating.
