Dr Stone has all the elements that makes an anime a typical shounen series. But sill the story and the plot are very different from other shounen series. There are tons of anime with the concept of post-apocalypse but Dr Stone has used some aspects that brings our attention to its world rather than focusing mainly in the intelligence and brilliance of the main character, Ishigami Senku. The element hype is there in the show like any other shounen so let’s discuss the top five scenes of the series that we found best so far.

Revival Of Senku

 

Shishio Tsukasa was the savior of Senku and Taiju when they almost died because of a starving lion. Shishio was the strongest middle-schooler before his petrification, who has now become Senku’s biggest rival, when it is found that both have a goal to build civilization, both had different belief which lead to this hatred. Tsukasa realizes that if he wants his plan to succeed and make society follow him, he needs to get rid of Senku. He seemingly kills Senku; however, Senku’s intellectual capabilities and his hobby of putting everything on a momentarily risky factor changes the outcome. Tsukasa makes his move, goes for the killing blow on the nape of Senku’s neck; however, Senku had started a habit of cracking his neck, this habit was not seen before his petrification days. When Yuzuriha and Taiju anxiously investigate, they find a piece of petrification on the neck of Senku and on that area they apply revival fluid, which leads to his revival after reconstructing the cell in Senku’s neck.

Senku Meets Kohaku\\

Senku decides that in order to achieve his goal of building a nation of science, he has to proceed with the news of his apparent death as an alibi. Senku plans to start his dream to build the nation of science elsewhere while using Yuzuriha and Taijo to pervade the Tsukasa Empire and work from inside. On his way he finds a girl who needed his help, he uses his mind to find a way to get her out from under the trees. After finding out that the girl had some connection with Tsukasa, the woman grew suspicious against Senku but after realizing how he helped her out of her circumstances not by his strength but using his genius mind, with the help of some materials around him, she starts to trust him. She reveals that she is Kohaku, a very rare portion of humanity who has not experienced petrification. After this Dr. Stone universe expanded massively

Tsukasa Kills Lions

 

At the time when Senku and Taiju struggle to survive and works hard to make a revival fluid to bring people back to life who are still petrified, a bunch of starving lions attack them. When there was no hope of survival, Senku learns from Taiju about an amazing middle schooler who is known for his strength and bravery, Shishio Tsukasa. With no other opton Senku throws out a bit of revival fluid on petrified Tsukasa. After being revived, he asks about the situation in a relaxed tone. After which he kills the lions with a punch.

The Blessing of Light

 

 

Senku somehow convinced Chrome to work with him for science. His aim was to invent a generator, to produce electricity. He also got help from wo village guards Kinro and Ginro. He finally succeeds in making one of the best creations of the stone world, an electric light bulb. Sagiri being the audience of the invention, gave a reaction to that brightness in the dark, that has no comparison in the series so far.

Kinro Catches the Glass-Eyed Helmet

During tournament arc which takes place in the village of Kohaku, the winner of the tournament is to be married to Ruri, daughter of the chief of the village who happens to be sister of the Kohaku. For the sake of kingdom of science, the crew of Senku could not let Magma, the strongest man of the village wins the tournament and needed someone to defeat him. Kinro saves the day. Although he had been constantly attacked due to weak eye sight. But Suiku helps him with her glass-eyed helmet that Senku and his crew invented. She throws the helmet in the air towards Kinro. He jumps towards it and caches the helmet directly through his head. Now that he can clearly see everything, he is able to fight with him successfully but does not win.

Dr. Stone an epic anime, packed with wonderful scenes of action and drama and a little bit of humorous moments. It is one of the few best series of Summer 2019 that entertained us. With only 15 episodes the show managed to deliver so many wonderful scenes and still have so much to show
