On April 12 the 23rd movie Detective Conan: Fist of Blue Sapphire of the franchise was released in Japan and vended 1,458,263 tickets and generated 1,886,292,700 yen in its first three days. Till August 25 the movie vended 7,164,729 tickets to generate an aggregate profit of 9,182,702,500 yen. The movie is the 7th successive Detective Conan movie and turn into one of the highest grossing movie of the franchise.
