On Wednesday the authorized website of the anime movie of writer Osamu Sōda’s Bokura no Nanokakan Sensō declared the starting date which is 13 December and the cast members of this movie. The cast members are following:
- Takumi Kitamura is giving voice to the character of Mamoru Suzuhara who is the main character of the anime. He is a shy boy who loves to read book and hardly talks to anyone. He loves history and has a lot of knowledge related to the martial science and he is part of a group in which he communicates with people like him who are interested about the martial science. He has a love interest in Aya Chiyono who is his oldest friend and lives next door to him.
- Kyōko Yoshine as a voice over artist for the character of Aya Chiyono she is a well-mannered girl who is friend of Mamoru. Although she is really gorgeous that she wins the beauty competition which held in her school but she never get proud of this fact and always behaves nicely with everyone. And before one week before her 17th birthday she gets to know that her father who is a politician has decided to send her to Tokyo although she doesn’t want this.
- Megumi Han provides voice to the character of Kaori Yamazaki she is part of a track squad she can’t even stand prejudice for a moment and she is always gets concerned for Aya as she is her best friend. Her father is owner of a construction business.
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki provides voice to the character of Sōma Ogata he is a carefree guy who is the heart of Mamoru’s class. He is always surrounded with girls and is admired by them. Without any interest he gets mingled in the birthday camping tour of Mamoru.
- Takeo Ōtsuka as Hiroto Honjō he is a guy who had to forcefully joins the tour because of his closest friend Saki insist him but he joins it halfhearted.
- Haruka Michii provides voice to the character of Saki Akutsu she is a free spirited girl who celebrates every moment and never thinks so much about things. She happily joins the birthday trip of Aya.
- Makoto Koichi as Malet he is a 11 years old and he is by now hiding in a factory of coals earlier than Mamoru and his companions reach there. He is a strange boy who is seeking out for his family.
- Takahiro Sakurai giving voice to the character of Masahiko Honda he is personal assistant of Aya’s father. He does his job casually but in real he is a very clever man.
The story starts from the day earlier than summer holidays when boys of first year from the lower secondary school of Tokyo start to get missing. The questions started to arise that whether it is some kind of calamity, abduction? But it reveals that the boys are hiding themselves in a deserted coal factory located in riverbed. By the help of the girls from the school they commence a rebellion in opposition of the grownups of the liberation district. This movie is situated in the year of 2020.
The movie is going to be directed at Ajia-do by Yūta Murano. The script is going to be written by Ichiro Okouchi. The ideas for the characters are going to be design by Keishin and the designs are going to be modified by Hiroshi Shimizu.
In April 1985 Kadokawa Shoten issued the novel and in 1988 a live action film based on this novel was made in which Rie Miyazawa starred. This novel also generates a print series and sequels of which 170 million total copies were sold. New volumes have been joined lately as it was in last year.
A manga version of this novel was published on 15 April in magazine named Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene by Sasaki Aoko and it was concluded on 13 July. Also a film on the basis of this manga was telecast on 16 August by Aoko Sasaki in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene.
