On Monday it was declared by NHK that it has postponed the debut date of the television anime of manga To Your Eternity by Yoshitoki Ōima, to April 2021 from its original October debut on NHK Educational. The declaration clarified that postpone is because of the anime production schedule has been greatly impacted by the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The show is going to have 20 episodes and the anime is going to be telecast by Crunchyroll.

The show stars the following:

  1. Reiji Kawashima as Fushi
  2. Rie Hikisaka as March
  3. Aya Uchida as Parona
  4. Rikako Aikawa as Pioran
  5. Mitsuki Saiga as Hayase
  6. Kenjiro Tsuda as The Beholder

The anime is being directed at Brains Base by Masahiko Murata. The series composition is being supervised by Shinzō Fujita and the characters are being designed by Koji Yabuno.

The manga is being issued by Kodansha Comics in English and it explains the story in following manner:

In November 2016 the manga was commenced in Weekly Shōnen Magazine by Ōima. On December 4 the primary arc of the manga was concluded and on January 22 the subsequent arc was commenced. In May 2019 the manga was awarded with the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards. The manga also got a position on the American Library Association’s (ALA’s) Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) 2019 list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens.
